We all know how unusual the dating scene has been in 2020. We’ve been in and out of lockdown and had tier system imposed on us which has made dating really difficult. Meeting like-minded singles is easy with sites like Just Senior Singles but what do you do when find someone you’re interested in? How are you supposed to take it to the next level – a proper date – without breaking government guidelines?
Here are some top tips for planning an outdoor date during the pandemic…
1. Go on a picnic
Much harder to do in the winter I know, but during the time when restaurants and bars are closed, and you can meet outside then why not try a picnic? Pack a blanket to sit on and some extra blankets to keep you both warm and enjoy some wine and nibbles together. You could bring a small Bluetooth speaker and have some music to listen to whilst you get to know one another.
2. Outdoor games
The options here are endless but again introducing an activity for you to both partake in just adds some fun to the date. You could bring a bowls set or Jenga or even the classic – a Frisbee. Whatever you feel would be a fun addition to the date take it along as it will add an extra element to the date.
So there we are, some ideas that we wanted to share that will hopefully inspire some of you to try. Please let us know if you tried any of these and how you got on and if you have any ideas please share them with us on our social media pages.
